MediaTek launches Dimensity 7050 India debut with Lava Agni 2 5G

MediaTek announced the launch of a new mid-range processor in the Dimensity family with the codename 7050, the specification does not look different from the Dimensity 1080 that was launched at the end of last year.

The chip is a 6nm chip made by TSMC, an eight-core chip with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and six Xortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. G68 MC4

For the features of the chip, it will support a screen resolution of up to 2520 x 1080 pixels, support a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, support up to LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 memory, support a maximum resolution of 200MP, and support Record video resolutions up to 4K 30fps. For connectivity, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

The first smartphone to get this chip will be the Lava Agni 2 5G, which will launch in the Indian market soon.
