MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ benchmark scores outperform Snapdragon 8 Gen 2!

MediaTek is scheduled to launch its new flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9200+, on May 10, but recently it seems that a good hand secretly took this chipset to benchmark tests before launch, giving us a glimpse of its power. Roughly, that’s pretty impressive.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ has passed the benchmark on Geekbench 6 on what is expected to be the vivo X90 smartphone, achieving single-core and multi-core scores of 5,655 and 2,121.

That number is considered very high. And it outperformed all devices powered by the market-leading Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset that were tested on Geekbench 6. The closest benchmark score for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 came from the top-of-the-line gaming phone Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, which has The single-core and multi-core scores were 5,641 and 1,992.

According to the latest information, the Dimensity 9200+ will have an 8-core architecture consisting of Cortex-X3 (3.35GHz) + 3x Cortex-A175 (3.0 GHz) + 4x Cortex-A510. Full details will be announced at the May 10 launch event. this
